I bought this thinking it was a Weber knock off but at a reasonable price. It looks nice and shiny, but when I unboxed it you could see immediately it was a cheap low-quality imitation. The metal gauge is less than half the thickness of the Weber equivalent, from the housing and lid to the legs and grills. The assembly instructions show nuts, bolts, and washers; however, the washers were missing. So the nuts will loosen with usage. The assembled BBQ is flimsy and wobbly. On the box, it says the surface coating is baked on enamel. Baked enamel should withstand high temperature. But when I fired up half a chimney of coal and dropped them in on top of the coal grill (suspended above the BBQ's bottom), it did not take long before the paint in the pan of the BBQ started smoking, blistering and peeling. The fumes smelled toxic. Suffice to say I didn't grill on it and used my old Weber instead. I have photo's to document this unsatisfactory experience. The jury is out whether I will go to the trouble of burning off all the low heat paint before I cook on it.
