"A modern racing stalwart"
5 stars"

Forza Motorsport 2 truly must be one of the few sequels in motor racing game history that doesn't try shatter boundaries and start amazing new things. It simply takes the original Forza (by itself a fantastic racing game) and polishes it to a gleaming mirror. All the little bits that are good in Forza, are excellent in Forza 2. The modification system is improved, the car selection better, the visuals stunning. And just to cement it more, progress is rewarded at every step.

Of course, no man can really review a modern racer without comparing to the big daddy of modern realistic racers, Gran Turismo. Having hired a PS3 and GT5 Prologue for a geeze at the new title, I went back to the old faithful Forza 2 feeling even better about it. Although it lacks some of the fanciness (in-car views would be a bonus), it DOES compensate with a significantly more refined physics model.

The online multiplayer is pretty good too, the only disappointment is (like most Live titles) the lag involved. Sadly the lag compensation system is a catch up type setup which can result in opponents cars being catapulted either past you or through you in some circumstances. The community are generally good too.

In summary, if you're looking for a racing title that just looks pretty and forgives sloppy driving, there's other titles that meet that criteria. But if you want a no holds barred, serious racing game with huge depth and realism, look no further.

"Simply Amazing"

Forza 2 is awsome. The driving is way more realistic than PGR and GT, and the car customisation options are endless.

I litterally spent an hour giving my car new paint jobs and adding vinyls to make it look however I liked. If your a fan of any racing games, this is a must have. Even if your not, get it now.

"The definitive racing experience"

Superlatives aside this game great value. a gripping career mode, a graphics engine honed to perform at 60fps continuous @720P, realistic controls with parts sponsored, cars sponsored, a comprehensive tuning model tied to the games physics engine, customisation out the wahoo (1000 layers of graphics for each panel!)

live database recording all wins, hours, average speed, records kept for all tracks, arcade mode and multiplayer, time trial competitions, in house auctions… features from here to there (i define here as very far away).

Sound is a little muffled and the menus take some time to get used to… the only real draw back is that we have received the game behind our northern hemisphere counterparts so prepare to get thrashed for a while on live…

so to sum up, awesome game, top service from gpstore

There are no words to explain this game but amazing!the game physics are brilliant, every car you drive has different charataristics, the graphics are brilliant and dont even get me started on upgrading cars, theres are millions of options, even when your driving you can view how your suspension, tires,& brakes are adapting to the road/track you are driving on, then go into car tuning and tweek your car, this game is brilliant, well worth waiting since december for, great game with the wireless force feedback steering wheel, it actually feels like you are driving for real. this game is a must have for any 360 owner!

"Outstanding"

Ok well I thought GT4 for PS2 was great and so is TDU for 360…but this is just amazing.

The sheer level of detail to each part of your car, the physics etc. list goes on, its amazing thats all!

I love the whole engine swapping idea, its definitely something that has been missed out of previous games and also, the fact you can tune your car to whatever you want/see fit and if you don't or don't know what tuning settings to put it to because you aren't as knowledgable about cars, it's fine, you can still get along A-OK.

Personally loving the JDM style Civic I have atm with a b18 :D

BUY IT!
