Author Biography:

William Thompson is a father and storyteller. As a professor of English, he regularly teaches folk and fairy tales in his children's literature classes. He is chiefly interested in young adult fantasy, and he has published on both J. K. Rowling and L. M. Montgomery. He also publishes a blog entitled Of Other Worlds: A Children's Literature Blog, and he has a collection of short stories for adult readers called The Paper Man and Other Stories. He enjoys walking and reading, often at the same time, and raising two beautiful daughters has given him inspiration for many stories.
