I've watched this movie many times, it's a favourite I go back to. The characters are engaging and draw you in, the story is unpredictable and varied, the historical aspect is fascinating and insightful and there is enough comedy to lighten the intensity of some of the themes. It's a sweet love story.

Another fantastic story by Studio Ghibli, I fell in love with it straight away.
I loved this film. It is set in the 1960s in the year before Japan hosted the Olympic Games. The romance between the lead characters is very engaging.

I enjoyed this movie. It was for me up there with hes others like kiki delivery service, the cat returns. Both great movies, family friendly also. Like all the other movies in this collection.
