"Superb game, insane price"
5 stars"

Full Throttle is one of the greatest adventure games of all time, no doubt about that: it's easily on a par with the Monkey Island or Myst series. The easy-of-use aspect is superior to any of the games in Tim Schafer's other great series, Monkey Island (except perhaps the third one), and better looking. The graphics are good for when the game was made in 1995. It's just as funny as any of Tim Schafer's other games. It's got one of the greatest endings of any game ever. Take a look at the Wikipedia article if you're interested (http://en.wikipedia.org/…ull_Throttle).

But guys … you're charging $29.95 for a game that's eleven years old. You're charging $29.95 for a DOS game. Deus Ex and Half-Life go for less than that. You can get the whole Baldur's Gate series for the same price. Guys, what are you thinking??

This is a very difficult game to get hold of, mind you, so it might well be worth the price to you. (Heck, I'd probably pay this amount for a working copy of Day of the Tentacle.)

If you do get it, don't play it using the default DOS installation. After installing the game from disk, run the game through the much more modern ScummVM engine (http://www.scummvm.org/). No need to worry about compatibility issues then. ScummVM is available for Windows, Mac OS X, Linux, and other platforms.
