This includes viewing history exhibits, a documentary film, graphic art displays, and live performances dedicated to meeting the purpose of the memorial. The plan proposes more outdoor activities, including viewing inspirational memorial features and self-guided interpretive walks. The interpretive facilities would be improved to allow greater emphasis on international friendship, border history, the changing river story, and the Chamizal settlement itself.
