Author Biography:

Rick is an experienced registered yoga teacher and paddle board enthusiast. On land, Rick focuses primarily on teaching private and small group vinyasa yoga. On the water, he brings this same student focused philosophy to SUP yoga. A former academic with a scruffy beard, heavily tattooed skin, and sarcastic sense of humor, he might not come off as a Lululemon model, but he is dedicated to providing his students with the best possible yoga experience, SUP or otherwise. Rick is an E-RYT 200/RYT 500 level yoga teacher, a Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider (YACEP), and has additional certificates in SUP Yoga and Yin Yoga. Rick also holds a Bachelors degree in social anthropology from the University of Louisville, as well as a Masters degree in Anthropology and a Masters in Public Health, both from Michigan State University. Rebecca is an accomplished and experienced yoga instructor. While living in Okinawa, Japan she began practicing and teaching yoga on a standup paddle board (SUP). There was just nothing like exploring her deep affection for yoga with the salty air and the turquoise waters beneath her. She was the first to teach organized group SUP yoga classes on the island. She then started her own company and created her own brand of SUP boards. From here blossomed the initial ideas behind Addicted 2 Asana. Rebecca is an experienced registered yoga teacher at the ERYT500 level, a certified yoga therapist (CIAYT), and a continuing education provider (YACEP). She runs a successful yoga school, registered with the Yoga Alliance for 200-Hour and 300-Hour programs, and also has a Master's Degree in Urban Planning from the University at Buffalo, New York.
