Rev. L.O. Ovbije was born in Nigeria, Africa and at the early age of six, at a boarding school, he encountered the power of prayer that is, talking to God. This encounter was a seed deeply rooted and grounded in his life forever. Devotion was at 6:00 a.m. which included singing of hymns and at 9:00 p.m. which ended also in singing of hymns. This was done seven days a week. It became paramount to the author, from this early age, to first talk to God in the morning, before talking to anyone else. Subsequently, God brought the author to America on a mission, with a message that "God's word (the Bible) must be the final authority in our lives" and it is from this truth, an intimate relationship can be forged. The author became a citizen of the United States of America; he is an ordained minister, an evangelist, and a graduate of the University of Georgia. The author believes and has experienced how prayer, the Word (Bible) and the Holy Spirit, mixed together, become the platform for God to perform miracles.
