IGN review says you cannot upgrade the cars, and it sounds as though it's basically the arcade mode with 800 cars. Thats a shame because the biggest fun to be had without doubt in Gran Turismo was the ability to take a piece of junk and turn it into a 400kph monster.

This game looks amazing. Gran Turismo is the greatest playstation series ever made, its been on every playstation console and now its coming to the psp. You must buy this if you own a psp and are a fan of sim racing games. Not to mention a whopping 800 cars, 35 tracks and 65 track layouts. Any way to summarise this game into one word “EPIC”.

Gran Turismo PSP is the biggest PSP racing game to date, featuring over 800 cars and 35 tracks this is truly a milestone for the psp console. Anyone considering purchasing this should definately look into it, its the best looking PSP game I've ever seen by far. A day 1 purchase for me, why not buy it too? Now all I need to see is that special packaging :D
