Guscott is a solicitor in Brighton. Approaching middle age, he finds himself being drawn into police investigations far too often for his peace of mind. Author Biography

Christopher Lee is academic, journalist and writer combined. A former defence and foreign affairs correspondent, he has worked in Moscow, Jerusalem, Washington and Brussels. He is the author, for Radio 4, of THIS SCEPTRED ISLE, the prestigious and highly-praised history of England, as well as THE HOUSE, a political drama serial of parliament. He has also written thrllers, mysteries and non-fictional projects over a 30-year career. Christopher Lee lives in Hastings, East Sussex.
