Hatching Jumbo - Dinosaur Egg reviews

A great gift for any kid! Watching the dinosaur grow each day to full size was a great added bonus to the actual egg cracking.

Got this for a 5 year olds birthday and he was so happy to get it and has loved to find what was inside.

My four year old was so excited to watch this egg hatch. Unfortunately I had to crack it ( in secret) after 2 days of no reaction in the water. Once dinosaur was out, it didn't expand much and overall was a jumbo disapppontment. :(

My 5 year old Granddaughter Chloe, her mum and dad and sisters came with nanny and grumps to visit Tasmania Zoo. As a gift I bought Chloe a bag of plastic Dinosaurs, she was only 2 at the time. Over the years she still played with the dinosaurs and became her favourite toys. For her 5th birthday I bought her one of these Dinosaurs in the egg. She impatiently waited for it to hatch and grow. I received a photo of her with her dinosaur, a massive smile on her face. This is still one of her favourite toys, when it starts shrinking, mum puts it in water and it grows again. I am going to buy one for 2 of my grandsons. They are great and teaches the kids to be patient.

What a great way to teach patience! Ours enjoyed checking to see if the egg had hatched. This was a great size to watch too, not like some of the dinky hatching toys of my childhood.

My 3 year old received the egg for his birthday and loved waiting for it to hatch. When it finally grew big enough, he carried it around the house for ages. I didnt like it so much, something to do with the texture and the fact that once it was out of the water, it seemed to ‘sweat’ a lot.

Such a cool gift idea for any dinosaur fans!

My grandchildren loved watching the eggs hatch and had almost hourly checks from the time they received them until they hatched.

My 7year old grand daughter and her 4 year old brother love these sort of toys, and eagerly await their hatching.
