This book is an adaptation of The Diary of a Father. Marc Rombout describes the period in which he and his wife became the parents of a biological and an adopted child. In touching and funny way, he talks about the birth of his son, the decision to adopt another baby, the subsequent adoption procedure, the wondrous journey to China and other things that impressed him during that period. This is a special book that would make you smile and sometimes make you shed a tear. Marc Rombout was born in 1969 in Amsterdam, married to Miriam, and the father of Rens and Naomi Qiu Xiaoju. Since 1991, he works in a primary school in Pabo and accompanies Pabo students. In between, he also worked for four years at the Anne Frank Foundation, and in his spare time, he presents a radio show in his hometown in Almere. High Gulf and Red Flower is Marc's first book.
