Description

A small town is the perfect place to find love in these heartwarming stories from favourite Australian authors. Lonely in Longreach by Eva Scott Widower Sam is too busy with farmwork and his teenage son Levi to look for love - so Levi creates a dating profile for him. When city journalist Sarah researches an article about finding love in the outback, something about 'Lonely in Longreach' draws her in. Could the man behind the profile be the key to the passion she has been looking for? Sleepless in Seattle meets rural Australia in this rom-com about optimism, online dating and love at first sight. Fairway to Heaven by Lily Malone When Jennifer finds her golf pro boyfriend giving one of his students a very private 'lesson' in a sand bunker, she retreats to Geographe Bay, hoping a weekend away with her young son will give her the space she needs to recover. Brayden is also seeking sanctuary by the sea and Jenn can't help but remember the kiss they shared. As long-buried feelings are rekindled, can Jenn trust Brayden with her heart - and learn to trust her body, too? Ash Gully by R.J. Groves Ash Gully seems the perfect place for teacher Sophie to heal and rediscover herself. Goat farmer William doesn't have time for a relationship - he's struggling to make ends meet while trying to be the best dad to his teenage daughter. But neither of them can deny their attraction. When William's daughter starts acting out and seems determined to hate her teacher, will the town's secrets be revealed a little too late? And is their relationship strong enough to withstand it?

Author Biography:

Lily Malone might have been a painter, except her year-old son put a golf club through her canvas. So she wrote her first book, His Brand of Beautiful, instead. Lily has now written six full length rural romance stories and a novella all published by Harlequin Escape. Her debut trade paperback, The Vineyard In The Hills, was published by Harlequin MIRA in September 2016. Last Bridge Before Home is the third of three books set in the fictional Western Australian town of Chalk Hill, a town which, in Lily's imagination, is about halfway between Manjimup and Mount Barker on the Muirs Highway. Book One was Water Under the Bridge, published in February 2018, which is Jake and Ella's story; and Book Two, The Café by the Bridge, followed Taylor and Abe. When she isn't writing, Lily likes gardening, walking, wine, and walking in gardens (sometimes with wine). She also doesn't mind the odd game of cards and loves her regular Thursday Night hand with the Card Girls. She lives in the Margaret River region of Western Australia with her husband, and two handsome sons who take after their father. Lily is a member of Australian Rural Fiction and Australian Fiction Authors. She loves to hear from readers and you can find her on Facebook, and on Twitter: @lily_lilymalone. A lifelong storyteller, she lived in Britain and Papua New Guinea before coming home to Australia to train as a cultural anthropologist. She now lives in rural Tasmania, amongst vineyards and orchards, with her husband and son, two cats and a cocker spaniel.
