Homefront: The Revolution reviews

Far better than I thought it would be. Fast moving and fun to play!

I played this game more than enough. It suffers from boredom and an uninteresting plot. The story is just ridiculous and out of this world unreal. Narrative designer CJ Kershner told GameSpot “I don't really think that we're dealing with the reality of the political situation now.” That says it all! No wonder. The Homefront franchise needs to be buried instead of any further attempts to milk it, into this developer Deep Silver's version of COD albeit with an “open world” by new desperate developers and publishers. Deep Silver ought to look at the fate of THQ. Sadly a waste of money this title.

The original Homefront was an awesome game and I enjoyed hours and hours of taking on North Koreans.

HFR is bloody terrible. I'd fill two A4 pages if I had to list all the glitches with the game. The AI is non-existant. It's just A there is no I. You can watch AI literally fade out and disappear and re-appear somewhere else in your field of vision. All the missions are bloody repetitive its just the same game formula, you go waaaay to long in between Auto-Saves. I understand this game went through a few developers before it was released, so ya know… If one good developer got behind it and ran with it from its conception until release, this game would be a million times better. I'd rather eat Glad Wrap than play this.

Great game glad I brought it

This game is ok but I wouldnt pay anything more than $50NZD lucky I got it for $25NZD so I cant say much about it for that price

Glitches are in the game itself otherwise would be a fun game

This game had potential, but lacked execution. It struggles to choose whether it wants to be fast paced or stealth and does neither well. Just too many damn bugs
