Christina Zina’s experience as a seafood industry professional began decades ago. Her family’swholesale seafood distribution business in South Florida boasts three working generations and over a dozen family members, and Christina has been a part of it since her early days. Christina is a digital content creator who began sharing her holistic approach to healing herchronic illness. Since she was raised in a family who focused primarily on natural health and wellness, it was a no-brainer for her to find her way back to health through nature’s medicine, food! With her Mediterranean heritage, the Mediterranean diet and lifestyle was a natural fit, and it quickly provided massive relief from her symptoms. She became passionate about sharing her experience with the hope of helping others facing similar struggles. While excitedly highlighting that seafood is one of the superpowers of the Mediterranean diet, Christina discovered that many people express both intimidation and a lack of understanding about buying and preparing seafood, which leads them to avoid it altogether. It became her mission to help demystify seafood and educate her community so they feel empowered and confident in their seafood buying decisions.
