Hyperkin Xbox One DUKE Wired Controller reviews

I used to have the original Xbox and a old school ‘duke’ this captures that really well, the animation on screen is a nice touch, and well, although I wont use it to actually play my Xbox 1X with, its just a really cool thing to have for nostalgic reasons

When I first heard Hyperkin was making the original Duke controller I said I HAD to have it but I was willing to wait for a sale. Now that I finally have it I'm glad I waited and here's a brief list of why: Pro: Original size is great for my large hands Wired setup lets me save batteries GIGANTIC “XBOX” button with fun LCD Display which doesn't get old. Con: OLD button layout. Everything is just rotated about 15 degrees to the left and the buttons are EGG shaped and not circles. You just don't realize how weird that is until you try playing with it. Cheap “addon” shoulder buttons. It's nice they added shoulder buttons to mirror the white and black buttons in the current position, but they're just not good buttons, not sure if I'd rather just not have them at all versus these cheap shoulder buttons.

I love it, and I'm glad I bought it, but it definitely shows how much we've improved controllers over the decades!

For me this is the best xbox controller ever. As a former eblack and competitive gamer I need the best of the best and this controller delivers.

Love everything apart from the terrible bumper buttons, because of this I won't be using it, rather just for collecting purposes.
