I Claudius - Complete Series (5 Disc Set) reviews

i was disappointed that sub titles were only on the first DVD as I need the sub titles to see the names of people to keep track of every one. I watched it about 40 years ago and loved it then and it is just as good the second time around. One to watch when the kids have gone to bed as there is a lot of violence but also humour and great to see what happened in the days of glory in Rome.

I vaguely remember I Claudius on T.V. Many years ago, so was wonderful to see it again. Loved every minute of the series. Grace.

I, Claudius is just as I remember it when it was shown on t.v, brilliantly executed by the cast with a weight of history bearing down on them. I would have preferred it in a serial format rather than as 4 movies.

I watched this when it was broadcast on National TV several years ago. I wanted to revisit it. It was a better experience the second time around. Excellent acting. and certainly captures the mood of the book.
