Donnie yen back in the next stage of his life and the martial arts school he established. When westerners brought boxing to China to compete with the martial arts styles. Full of action and great fight scenes.

Thoroughly enjoyed it.
It's rare for a sequel to match the original, but this one does. Again, a good story to go with the action. Donnie Yen definitely stamped his authority with these movies.
Was a bit worried whether Ip Man II would live up to the first movie but a great sequel.Did not disappoint.
Im not a huge martial arts fan but the ip man movies are really good. The stories are told so well with great fight scenes. Ip man stands up for what he believes in and comes out as a real hero. If you like martial arts films, this is a must see.
I was pleasantly surprised with this movie because I was not expecting it to a match the first one Once again great acting, action sequences and history being told A really great watch for many many reasons. Not to be missed.
If you thought Ip Man was a fantastic film, you will certainly not be disappointed by its sequel, which in some elements supercedes the original.
The action is, as one would expect, fantastic, with special effects and wire stunts used with restraint. The tabletop fight sequence between Donnie Yen and Sammo Hung is not to be missed! As with the original, cinematography is again to the fore, adding to the storytelling.
I'm not generally a fan of sequels, in my experience, they are profit-driven affairs that fall on their face, but Ip Man 2 provides a welcome relief from this trend, it stands on its own as a wonderful film.
Like the original, this film is not stuck solely in the action genre, the acting is more than solid, and it is a carefully made film with artistic merit. Ip Man 2 is exactly what a good martial arts film should be, with a great narrative, very good acting, and superb action sequences.
