It's Always Sunny is based around a group of four friends who own a bar in Philadelphia, but it's not a cookie-cutter sitcom at all.
Dee, Charlie, Dennis and Mac (and Frank) are a gang of narcissistic, egotistical, self-absorbed, backstabbing tools and they're a pleasure to watch. It's Always Sunny is not for the easily offended but any show that deals with racism, abortion, cancer and molestation in the first season gets my vote.
A+ and I can't wait for the next few seasons to come out on DVD.
These characters are so loathsome and self absorbed, they are defiantly going to hell. Best comedy ever !
One of the best comedies on TV, each actor plays there role perfectly with great character background. Amazingly different scenarios each episode. just the BEST TYPE OF COMEDY. no better, watch it now.
This program is absolutely hilarious. The entire gang is narcissistic, deluded and unscrupulous. Get in on the ground floor of this absolute gem. Can't wait until more seasons become available!
This is simply a fantastic comedy, a glimmering hope among all the rubbish produced in America.
I watched all 20 episodes back to back. It starts off a little slow to put in the back story, gets really funny in the middle and (i think this might be because i watched them all back to back) it dropped off a bit at the end (but still funnyer than at the start)
NOTE: The first disk played on my XBox 360 (the origional one) but the second and third didnt (my DVD played took all of them though) so watch out for that
Let me preface this review by saying this show is NOT for everyone – nearly every episode could be described as deeply offensive. Whether that's a bad thing is completely up to you.
For people who care little about political correctness, this show is a complete goldmine – there are literally several laugh out loud moments in every scene. The characters and plots are ridiculous yet feel so “right”.
If you enjoy the blackest of humour then this will be your new favourite show.
Probably one of the funniest programmes I have ever seen, if you enjoyed seinfeld, with comedy that has no hidden sappy meanings then youll love this. Would definitly reccommend this to anyone who likes a good laugh.
