Used no more that 6 times… If that. It sounded horrible and has died already. Not impressed as the last Panasonic blender I had lasted best part of a decade!

The jug is plastic but fairly sturdy. Blade does not detach but it's easy to clean. Just be warned that it's very, very loud. Either way it's a damn good blender for $99. I use it almost daily
