My kids love this and watch it over and over. It's like a long Lego commercial featuring sets across many themes, but it's still lots of fun to watch. If you like the tv series Chuck you'll enjoy hearing some familiar voices.

Good first LEGO movie I love LEGO so much
12 year old son loves. Kinda says it all really! ;-)
(Note for the adults: Kid safe fun, don't expect a lot yourself – takes “product placement” to a whole new level)
The first LEGO movie is squarely aimed at a younger audience. The storyline is simple, the characters are not overly complex, and there is little in the way of surprises through the movie. As an avid LEGO enthusiast during my own childhood, I found there were a few laughs to be had, but it is not designed to appeal to adults in the same way that movies such as Toy Story and Shrek do.
That said, the LEGO theme permeates the movie, and many scenes play off the fact that most things in the movie are constructed from LEGO.
There is some room for improvement in the writing, but overall this is a solid, watchable movie that young kids should enjoy, especially if they play with LEGO.
Kids love lego and loved the lego movie – please can we have more!
A great movie, any kids who love Lego will love watching this movie! It is very well done and funny with a wide range of lego features from power miners to the space range. A must buy for xmas !!!!
