Logitech G35 Headset reviews

Very comfortable to use, the adjustable headband is great and they fit on your head so that you can wear them for hours at a time. Sound is great – going from stereo to surround sound is an experience! The design of the headset is also great for blocking out noises from the next room over, I can quite happily ignore someone talking, even to me, from about 2 meters away as you can't really hear them. Only bad point, which is rather minor in my opinion is that after about 5–6 hours of constant wear your ears may start to get a bit warm.

This headset is the most comfortable pair of headphones I have ever worn. Comfort is nothing if the sound is not up to it, I can tell you that the sound is magnificent! Deep booming bass, with 7.1 surround sound in games, it makes me realise how much I have been missing with just using desktop speakers. The microphone is excellent and comments I get from my guild mates is that the sound is clear on our voice chat. My only niggle about this headset is that it doesn't come with the cord on the other side. It's a tiny issue but my PC is on my right and the code is wired into the left can so it has to either run across my desk in front of my keyboard or dangle on the floor like it is now. The cord is braided by the way so it's as tough as old boots another great feature.

It did eventually break but after almost 2 years of amazing quality but I still think it was worth the buy.

The only thing I can think to complain about would be the cable and the fact that it was very awkward to untangle and hold into place but that is being very nit picky.

Over all I love my new headset! I've been using it for over a month now and I would never go back to speakers. I would recommend this headset to anyone looking for an affordable, rugged headset with top quality 7.1 surround sound.

Good sound quality, the false 7.1 surround sound works okay I suppose. Don't forget to turn it off if you're listening to music though. Nice sound overall.

However, using the microphone causes some funky issues. When using programs like Ventrilo or Skype for gets a high pitched whine in the right can. It's fairly quiet so if there is noise it will mask it and you won't even notice but if it's quite quiet it will slowly drive you insane and you'll probably kill someone.

Recommended if you want surround sound it is EPICALLY good

I've known Logitech to be quite good with their technology. It was good quality, sound and mic was great but…after 2 hours of use an excruciating static sound blasted into my ears. I know this isn't Mighty Ape's fault as I did my research on this particular headset and a lot of people have had the same problem.

Mighty Ape are always cooperative and easy to communicate with so have managed to organise and easy send back for a refund. Since then I have purchased another brand of gaming headset from Mighty Ape yesterday and received it today.

Overall a great headset. Absolutely awesome surround sound, a great quality microphone, very comfortable, handy controls on the side and hilarious voice morphs that make for funny multiplayer gameplay. A great value for money.

Be aware that these headphones do have a manufacturing fault. I owned my pair for 6 months and the right hand ear cup snapped away from the head band unit ,under normal use. The Logitech forums are full of other users who have had the same problem. While I could still put them on my head they did their job perfectly, but its a bit disappointing for them to break after such a short amount of time

Sound quality is great very comfy overall performance very good,easy to set up. My only gripe is the glue they used to stick the Velcro on to the headset seems kinda shoddy and if you change the head rests too much comes off, I dont plan on changing it so its not a big deal.

I bought this headset a few years ago and it still works great now! I use it for three to eight hours a day for what feels like forever now. The material covering the foam has sort of wasted away in recent months, but that is after two to three years of intense daily use! The bindable keys on the side are perfect for your media player so you don't have to tab out of what you're doing. ( PS: They don't seem to work while in League of Legends, but that's the only game I've found that stops the keys from working on iTunes ) So you could get up to five or more years out of this if you only use it for about three hours every day. I'm not going to do the math, but that is a long time. And that's just until the foam's cover has come off, you could still get another year or two of intense use before the foam starts to go!

At the moment it is shown at $129.99 after a 35% discount, that's less than half the price I paid back in the day and I think I got my money's worth and more! I'll get it again when my current one gives out if I can't find one with more buttons, noise cancellation, etc.

Well, I love this headset so much after I snapped the ear piece off accedentally I bought another within 20 minutes. Great clarity, extremely comfortable, 7.1 surround sound makes for a great experience. The mic is great, and the voices that come with the software are a nice touch.

Great mic very long cord. 7.1 is sweet voices not so cool. But using the mic for general use works perfect

Just bought some, and the bass sucks and doesn't seem right when listen to music, but the main problem is they give me a headache in 1 minute (no kidding)

This is good quality sound and an excellent mic that has a built in Voice changer for lolz. But the cord that connects it to the PC is useless, it tangles and tangles and no matter you do you can't fix it. Then it tangles so much that the wires inside break and then you're screwed. Like I was. But if you can get around that issue then by all means get these headphones.

This was my first surround sound headset and boy was I missing out! the surround sound is amazing, and the sound quality is insane! It is worth the buy

I've owned other Logitech headphones and the band is junk, liable to snap clean off if dropped. It's about time they paid attention to QC. That's the main reason I wont be buying this pair, or any other Logitech phones. The phones may have great sound, but that band isn't worth paying for. Bazza

The sound on these headphones is good, the microphone is good, although I found on raidcall the response can be sluggish with the voice activation (this may be a lag issue). However, unlike others who have reviewed these headphones I do NOT find them comfortable at all. Even after 1/2 an hour they start to hurt my ears. They have not worn in, not become more comfy, as I was hoping to start with. In fact, I am so unhappy with them that I will replace them.

Still using this 6 years down the line and only swapping out due to breaking. Likely could have lasted longer if I treated it a little better too. 9/10

The headset has excellent sound quality using them for the first time is a euphoric experience. They're comfortable to wear over long periods of time and the macro buttons are handy when skipping songs on my playlist the adjustable sound scroller is nice so I can quickly adjust the volume without taking my attention away from my work or gaming. The noise cancelling does exactly as stated as I usually have people in my household call for me or try talk to me and I usually don't notice them unless I physically see them.

All the buttons are great; Play, forward, backwards, Mute, Sound. Great chord quality. Sturdy. Good value for money.

A great headset for the price. Voice changer is cool to play with. Not fantastic bass. Can get extra ear pads from ebay which is very handy!

Have had this headset for six months, its been good BUT!!..it started falling apart after 1 month and it been treated very well from desk to head,the sound is average the bass is terrible but treble is good. This is an average gaming headset there are better out there for cheaper then this (razer) but if you like logitech then by all means get it. Nothings stopping you. Oh and the mic is probably the best thing on the g35 just be aware that it does start to break easy at the sliders. Ill give it a good rating for be comfortable for long periods of gaming. So there this is my review on this headset you won't be disappointed or excited about this headset its very average.

Comfortable to wear, good sound quality.

This may be a common theme with any good headset out there. It just gets too irritating after a few hours due to its weight and the earpieces make my ears really hot. Also the wiring gets very tangled and due to its material it can be very hard to untangle.

I am very satisfied with the g35 headset. It has plenty of options available to change the sound you hear, and with 7.1 surround sound it really does sound great. Fully recommend this product!

I had one before.. Beware that the mic boom might get loose and wont be able to move it out of the way.. Other than that.. It sound great.. I can locate people in games relative to this headset

Super comfortable headset. The exchangeable head pads are a nice touch to accompany the great overall quality build. Sound quality is excellent same as the mic. The software is easy to use and the hotkeys/buttons on the side are a great addition.

9/10 only because the headband adjusts to easily and changes sizes when you pick it up sometimes.

I have been using this headset for about a month now and i have no problems at all! Sounds is great, bass is great and the voice morphing software that comes with it is fun too.

I got these as a replacement, i had to pay a bit more but then it was all worth it!

This headset has a great sound, perfect for music and gaming. But it kind of hugs your head. After a few hours of use my ears are sore. It sits very tight. Sound quality is great, and the mic is good. The voice morphing is fun when you figure out how to use it. 4.5 stars.

Although the sound is excellent, these headphones are very heavy. Even with the thickest padding across the head band they give me a headache after a few hours, and I'm constantly adjusting the band to a new position across the top of my head to relieve the pressure on the top of my head. Not a flaw, but something to be aware of particularly for women (my husband has the same headphones and, with his broader head, doesn't have the same problem). I don't have a pinhead, I'm tall with a proportional head so probably larger than many women's.

BUT … Less than 12 months of use and the padding around the earpieces is falling apart. It starts with a little hole where the vinyl coating sort of ‘pops’ and then gets bigger and bigger, with the vinyl falling off (ending up stuck all over the sides of your face) until you're left with just the fabric underneath. Whether it breaks down from contact with your skin I don't know, but this has happened to both my and my husband's head­phones – his are several months older and in much worse condition than mine, which are only just 12 months old. Disappointing. :(

Had it for less than a year, it was above average while it worked, but as soon as I wanted to make all my gear logitech, the headset got driver issues and is just plainly messed up.

I bought this headset because my previous turtle beaches were uncomfortable to wear for long durations and the cord would twist and eventually fray. These headsets cord design stops them from doing so and the sound is amazing. They cover your ear completely yet don't feel uncomfortable or suffocating. The features with the buttons are both useful and fun if you wish to toy with the sound alteration options.

Recieved mine in less than 12 hours hahaha and I live all the way in Christchurch. HOW COOL IS THAT- The headphones are huge which means you can't wrap around you're neck but it is really nicely done :)

It's Good still minor room for improvement but its good

I found these headphones to be fantastic with superb sound quality. The only problem is that if you google “G35 broken” you will see images of where they tend to break. This seems to be the one design flaw in an otherwise great product. They broke for me when I picked them up off my desk one day. I knew about the fault, so had been particularly careful with them. Such a shame that the manufacturer has not fixed this well known issue.

This headset is really comfortable to use, even over long periods of time. The sound is great, and so is the microphone quality. The different headband pads are a great as well.

These are the best and most comfortable headphones I've ever owned. The sound is amazing and they don't hurt your ears. The volume control is easy to access and the programmable buttons are easy to find too. Highly recommend these.
