Logitech G430 Headset reviews

Recieved this item today and was quite shocked about the quality of it. It comes in a stunning package, and is prepared as if it was a piece of glass. The Headset themselves is very easy to plug into your computer, with a simple USB device, and then you're off to go. Very comfortable, and the wires are laced in a nice fabric so they are easily flexible.

Will definately buy from Mightyape again.

For gamers that want a quality headset without a large budget, this is the headset for you. This is the most comfortable headset I've ever used, great for marathon gaming sessions. The microphone is crystal clear with little background noise, and the speakers deliver wickedly sharp sound, especially with the surround sound on.

Look no further, this is a quality 7.1 headset for a great price. Think soft like a perky boob and quality like Morgan Freeman's voice, you now have an idea of the Logitech G430.

They are comfy even in my fat head and sound pretty good. Once setup with the Logitech program off the net they work properly in 7.1. Mic seems pretty clear which is a great point for online. Would say great bang for buck and recommend for online gamers.

The plastic on one joint cracked away so now the headset isn't wearable.

The pivot point for the lower ear parts is complete junk. It will snap. I have bought 2 of these and both failed in the same way, pivot point failure. Sound quality is good but if the headset is in two pieces you wont know.

Got the headset a few days ago and just did a 12 hour lan in which they were comfy the entire time and provided really nice 7.1 sound goodness

I got this to replace my Razer Krakens which started cutting out after about 2 months. I am so glad that I have made the change to Logitech. No only were these cheaper than Razers 5.1 sound. But they are much more comfy. They are SUPER light, and the ear cups are a much better shape than the Razer Krakens and they cover your whole ear, (great for them long farming session on WOW) making them better for long use. Also the software with these bad boys that allow for surround sound is very user freindly. Would definately.

The first time I put them on they admittedly felt rather strange and my ears were fatigued and warm they only felt that way for a day or two, since then they have been the most comfortable headphones I have ever worn, the sound quality is incredible in stereo or surround sound mode, the microphone is well made, it will only detect sounds relatively close to it so background noise is no problem. All in all very satisfied and from the site I saved about $30. WORTH IT! hell yes.

I don't treat this thing harshly, but still the pivot point is so small that over time enough stress will fracture though the surrounding material, that little plastic box with four screws snapped right down the middle after about 6 months of use

The mic makes you sound like a jet fighter from the 80s

I spent ages trying to find the right headset that I could afford – this is a good set for the price. Very comfortable, not a moment's discomfort since I put it on. Good clear mic – my buddies can finally hear me without breaking up. Inline controller works just fine – nice sound. The cord however is another thing entirely – I had seen other people complaining about it on the net – it is a real pain. No matter what you do with it after the first week – it is tangled beyond recognition each time you put it back on. It's a nice long cord and I have it tied up in the band it came with to shorten it for my use – however, there is no end to the tangling right from the headset earpiece. I had thought tying it with the band would help – it probably does, god knows what it would be like if the whole length was out. It is now making it difficult ingame to grab the inline controller – a braided cord obviously is not the good look Logitech!

Very nice sound and mic quality but the headset isn't extremely comfortable for long gaming sessions as it starts to irritate the top of my head. Could add more padding/a different type of padding to fix this. Apart from that, nice gaming headset.

Grab it if you want a good headset for gaming like csgo . Recommended

Well it's a great headset, the sound quality isn't as good as the Asus Strix Pro's I was using, but the mic quality is amazing. After wearing these for extended periods they do start to hurt, but other than that, no problem.

When I first ordered this, I didn't expect much. But I was proven wrong, by a long shot. The audio quality of this headset is phenomenal, amazing surround sound and bass. Amazing for any PC gamer, or anyone who wants to listen to music with great sound. The headset at first feels a bit awkward on the top of the head at first but they soon shape around your head making it comfortable. Same with the ears, most comfort I've had in a headset for a long while. Great pick up, and worth it!

These were great headphones until they broke after one fall to the ground, the only thing I use them for now is a mic. Pros : Good headphones + surround sound Cons : Extremely Fragile, not the best microphone audio.

I put these on and opened up Counterstrike on my PC and even as the opening music played I thought to myself ‘Oh no..’. Opened up a death match with bots and every sound that came to my ears made me think ‘Oh noo…’. The match finally begun and I was immediately pained by the compressed everything violating my ears. Everything sounds horrible, there is absolutely 0 spacial awareness. I regretted every shot I took that missed as I was forced to listen to my horrendous sounding gunshots with nothing in return. I then closed CS:GO and took my headphones off. I hope to very soon forget they exist. Never regretted a purchase so quickly and I ended up buying a new pair of headphones immediately after.

Sound is ok but mic quality is quite poor and gets distorted when you speak loudly.

Was a good mic, but sadly only lasted 2–3 months and nothing happened to it that could harm it any way honestly 150$ for that- ill accept it if it was 50$ but the durability is a joke.

Excellent quality for the price.

Fantastic ear cushion design, sits around the outside of the ear. Very comfy! Perfect microphone quality. Has a small feature where it plays your voice back to you when the mic is engaged, letting you know how loud you are talking, kind of hard to describe – but perfectly executed.

8.7/10 Would purchase again in a heartbeat.

Good microphone and speakers. I've bought 3 of these now and the pivot that connects the speakers to the headset broke on all of them. If you do research, you'll find out thqt many others have this issue and have had multuple of these headesets too.

After nearly 2 years of using this headset I feel like my opion of it has somewhat of an importance. Now the headset is very nice, comfy on the head, light around the ears and the sound quality is perfect. But the one thing that let me down was the microphone, it could be from old age or my setting. Either or, the mic is absolute garbage even with the microphone right on my lips my team mates still find it hard to hear me. To wrap it up it’s got amazing comfort and feel but very poor microphone.

Ive been using this for a month on rainbow six and its amazing for pin-pointing enemy locations based off sound, Ive had people ask if I have walls because of the percise wall bangs I can achieve.

I have had this headset for less than 6 months and already the left earmuff has already broken they still work but it has fallen off. The same thing happened to my friend.

Fantastic audio, mic is great and comfortable to wear. The only issue I had is a fatal weakness in the plastic connecting to the arms and many others have also reported them snapping after a few months of use.

The sound quality was nice but after about 10–11 months the pivot point cover broke and now one headphone dangles down. Mic is also very scratchy and doesnt always record the star and end of sentences.

Have it for 3 months now and i can say that it does have a nice crisp sound with surround sound on. But the mic is not the best. Its very scratchy and it cant handle loud sounds. Also the mic grip that lets it hover when the mic is down has gone away. It just dangles down and is not very comfortable.

Good headset that works well, would recommend waiting for a discount when purchasing but other than that this a fantastic headset

Best headset I have ever owned sound quality is great especially in gaming. The 7.1 is amazing and the headset is great for overall use like music as it has good subs gaming and more.

The audio is very good overall but the deeper sounds like bass sound excellent, the mic is also good, but you can even go boneless voice. Only issue that I have with this is that the cord is too long and the sound can sometimes be too quiet.

Really good headset for the price. I'm buying the xbox one version of this headset as it's just so nice and sits perfectly on my head

Down graded because of recommendations for this one. Sound quality is okay but could be better. Has to install the software first before using it properly, then has weird issues with mic playback and usb ports etc.

This headset is by far the best value for money headset you will find that has good quality. Its also very durable (i throw it around a bit and it still doesnt break).

Extremely comfortable. Epic quality sound headset with a mic that is clear and ultra high quality. Perfect gaming headset would highly recommend these, as the price is extremely reasonable for such a high quality brand and quality product.

Would be better if it came with a 3.5mm combiner other wise great

I think that this is one of the few headsets with real surround sound witch is fantastic def best headset ever

Comfortable for long periods with great quality audio. Loving the Logitech G series with the G502 and now these many have to look for a key board next

The one issue I have experienced is that the mid line volume/mute control is very weak and does not stand up to much use having become unreliable.
