Logitech Z623 2.1 Speaker System with Subwoofer reviews

I bought them from mightyape and they are a set of good looking and powerful speakers. Perfect if you like playing games and watching movies on PC.

The sound is distortion free, and so is the bass. I have bought two from mightyape.They are so good that I damaged my MacBook Pro because of it's bass vibrating my mechanical disk.

These speakers look great and the sound is even better. I've bought them by recommendation, and now recommend them myself. I work at an electronics store and they're the speakers I sell the most of, since nothing else really compares to their quality. Even if you don't like pounding bass, the clarity is great, and it's good to know that even if you crank it up, it's not going to distort or break over a good night's use.

Solid build quality. Larger satellites and subwoofer than I thought from what I had seen from the entry level/cheaper Logitech 2.1 setups. Great sound quality, these speakers output double or even triple the RMS that standard car speakers powered by the head unit do. Sounds crisp and has great directional sound, combining left and right perfectly to sound like audio is coming from directly in front of you. This is the next best thing if your computer or home theatre setup doesn't have room for 5.1 speakers or if you don't particularly care about rear audio. I'd say the subwoofer has more mid-bass than deep, ground shaking bass. Can still fill the room with sound and shake your desk to bits if you turn the bass and the volume all the way up. Which btw, doesn't cause any distortion in the speakers, the power output in the speakers stays clean and the sub hits hard. Pretty impressed and I would definitely recommend.

I bought the Logitech Z623 2-Speaker System with Subwoofer from tech-retailer PB Tech for $180. Love it. Great two speaker system with powerful subwoofer at 400W.

These speakers are so good I would even consider buying these again, because why not. They are certified THX speakers so films, tv series played through your TV, Monitor or computer sound amazing. I mostly use it for playing heavy metal, etc. My music has never sounded better and louder!!

I really like these I just upgraded from my 506logitech speakers and they are much better thanks mighty ape cheaper than any other store round:)

Was very pleased with these Logitech speakers they crank would compete well with other well known brands. Well worth the buy.

We mostly use this set up for our mini Cinema in our office area. This system Totally rocks, clear Audio, nice mid to low Tones, overall its worth the money.

Sound quality is good for the price Overall happy with an item Cables are not super solid tho So if you are planning to move your system too often cables might get worn off and you will start loosing one speaker.

Best PC 2.1 setup. Great sound, looks good – quality product. These could only be better by offering a Bluetooth option but otherwise very please with the product. My previous speakers were the Logitech Z4s from 10+ years ago and are still going strong attached to my lounge tv

Bass produces an earthquake throughout my whole house. All in all a great sound system. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT – and buy it from Mighty Ape, they are almost always the cheapest.

I definitely recommend these speakers.

Speakers were a bit bigger than I thought from the pictures (not a bad thing) and I have only had one small issue so far and that is whenever there is nothing playing for an extended amount of time the speakers seem to make a weird sound but aslong as they are turned off or something is playing all the time they are fine.

Need new speakers- Sure you could get those z506's that everyone, or you could get these which are on a whole different level.

Positives

+Good bass for the price. (much better then the z506's) +Works easily with consoles. +Looks good

+The headphone jack's volume is controlled by the volume dial.

Negatives

• 125hz goes through the sub. This makes it distort a little and generally makes it sound rather unclean. I wouldnt worry too much about it if your using it for your tv or console.(see below for the pc fix)
• If you pull the headphone plug out and forget to turn the volume down… Neighbours get woken up and undies need changing.

Fix: Drop 125hz 3–6db in the equalizer or else it distorts. I have mine on what I can only guess is –4db (realtek EQ doesnt show +/-db). Its enough that the sub sounds a lot cleaner but not enough to make it tinny. If your favourite song does sound tinny at this setting, turning the sub up a smidgen fixes it.

No distortion what so ever, can go very loud. The Bass in near bottomless and resonates through my whole room.

Best of all, you can pair this to your PC, game console and a third device (ipod) and have it all play simultaneously.

Nothing beats turning off the game music and plugging in my own music. This has to be my very best Mighty Ape order to date. 5/5

As the product description says these speakers are great for movies and games. However, I cannot recommend these for music. The sound really fills the room, but can sound quite hollow, and that's the problem. It sounds like listening to music from another room. If you love movies, these will be great.

The other reviews weren't kidding with how well these sound. Powerful bass, all around great sounding speaker! Love it

Awesome bass

These are surprisingly powerful speakers and the desktop control is a great feature. The sub-box is bigger than a standard 2.1, but you can absolutely hear the difference in the bass. Very impressive sound from a 2.1.

I'm happy with speakers awesome clear bass and as always fast delivery.

I have these linked up to my computer and PlayStation 5. You can really crank them up. Very immersive for gaming. My only regret is that I didn't buy these earlier. Game changer!

Having had my last pair of PC speakers for 10+ years I was pleasantly surprised with the clarity and bass performance of these speakers. Pretty much only use them to stream Spotify while in the office working.

To this day, this has be my proudest purchase. My bae.

I bought these speakers originally for my desktop computer without really expecting anything amazing, they were just to replace the monitor's speakers, but after hearing how great they sounded and how powerful the bass was, they were promoted to the lounge room. I've now got them plugged into the TV and use them as my main PS4 gaming speakers.

For such a compact setup, they put up a fair fight with my home theatre system. I also use an AUX in line with my phone to play music for parties.

Awesome speakers for any application.

Base is fantastic (as reviews) middle and high not as good. Perfect for an easy to install and unobtrusive system for a normal room.

I have been using logitech speakers now for about 6 years, and have always found the quality of sound and depth of clarity to be very impressive. I recently purchased the Z623 speakers cant get enough of them, I have had them about a week and already friends are asking where I got them from.

I bought these for my new gaming computer, knowing I'd be doing alot of gaming (and some music), and they are awesome! Paired with the large screen, playing games with these speakers going in completely emersive. Every blast, crash, yell and screech is awesome! Love the bass this thing produces (though it would want to given the desk space it takes up). All round fantastic pc speakers :)

These speakers are absolutely awesome. I had read many reviews and watched lots of demos of these speakers on youtube before I bought them…but it wasn't till I set them up and tested them out that I realised how good they are. The bass on these speakers is excellent…nice deep bass that you wouldn't get on your average 2.1 setup. The volume is great too…plenty loud enough for your bedroom or lounge. Overall, these are the best value for money speakers I've ever bought.

And these blew me away! For their price I have found them to be unparalleled.
