Lucky ☆ Star is definitely not for everybody. It's something you either love or hate; and after watching the first episode, you'll have a fair idea of whether you'll enjoy it or not. There's no real plot, or action, but this is perhaps what makes it so appealing. Soon enough, you'll find yourself smiling as the girls discuss everything from how to eat a chocolate cornet without the filling dripping out, to various facets of Japanese otaku culture. Sometimes, you'll find yourself wondering why you're even watching it, but proceed to the next episode regardless. This anime is very easy to watch, and keep watching. I think it's best described as a suitable break from the many action-suspense anime out there.

Description

When you think back to your high school days, can you really sum up those days in one concise paragraph? Memories of those times were probably made up of a series of hilarious moments with your closest classmates. That's exactly what Lucky Star is all about.

Meet Konata, a girl who's too obsessed with anime and video games for her own good; Miyuki, the cute, bespectacled living example of moe with an encyclopedic knowledge of all subjects; Kagami, the always serious but shy straight-man to Konata's constant teasing and pranks; and her younger fraternal twin sister, Tsukasa, a sweet and kind airhead. Follow their not-so-ordinary high school days as they try to answer every day questions like how to eat a chocolate cornet.

Contains episodes 1–24.
