"OMG"
2 stars"

I am a totally die-hard Mass Effect fan! Andromeda however, is clunky and bug-ridden; the mapping is just sheerly awful – there are numerous ‘side missions’ that will not track, so you need to spend time driving around aimlessly, for stuff you may or may not find. The multiplayer can be fun for a while but it's just jumping whilst shooting really, currently have no idea what the points/rating system is. It's no more difficult than the last game except you are not allowed the same amount of gear to survive. Mp is also slow to load and prone to disconnects. Earlier review mentions the menus – in sp & mp these are non-intuitive & messy. Much has been made of the ‘cartoon faces’ – totally agree; and as to ‘crafting’ – equally as boring- this is futuristic space, gimme a gun and lemme get on with it. Oh, also it is hard to hear what other squad mates are saying, even folks you have to talk to, the main character is facing away from everyone, and I have no idea what the head bad dude is saying – either the AI SAM is talking over the top (and he's getting seriously annoying); you're in battle, or rattling your teeth out in the Nomad (aka Mako). All up, now into day 7, very tedious single player and ‘meh’ multiplayer – that'll teach me to pre-order, I'd buy it if it was on sale maybe – doubtful I'd ever replay the sp – it has no comparison to the earlier trilogy. It's pretty much DA Inquisition in space.

"Great game but not the same as the old trilogy"
4 stars"
Purchased on Mighty Ape

I started seeing the pre-release reviews and critics and while concerned I was hopefully it wouldn't be as bad as stated. All in all, I have been surprised that the reviewers were partially right. There are some animation fails and they did do a better job with ME3's animations; the game wasn't even close to being as bad as stated. The combat feels as fast paced as earlier and the various menus can be confusing but overall the story and lore at great. There are some mechanics that have been removed since the trilogy but new mechanics added which did change the style of my gameplay slight (please bring back the concentration mod for snipers) but otherwise if you enjoyed the trilogy, I would highly recommend getting MEA as well.

"Still enjoying 40 hrs later"

Not sure why people are complaining about. I love it, and I hope the ending doesn't suck as much as it did in the last mass effect game.

"Great game, shame about the cut scenes."
4 stars"

So far I'm enjoying the game, lots to do, combat is great. But the humans in the cut scenes just look wrong, I've found myself looking away and just listening as the expressions just break it. Also have yet to see any consequence to choices I make in conversations. But have a lot of game still too play.

"Broken on Release - DO NOT PURCHASE"

Proof this game wasn't QA'd and is in an unplayable shape. Also, facial animations and expersions are from the uncanny valley. https://www.youtube.com/…=7KWkao73HuU

"Taking my time playing this game, not sure when it'll end!" Purchased on Mighty Ape

Running Win10 i7–7700 @3.60GHz, 16GB RAM and FeForce GTX 1060 6GB, and the game looks great. However, I have come across some bugs in the game which I hope is fixed soon, and didn't appear to be fixed in their latest patch. This includes auto-selection of speech options and a missing quest which means I won't complete several future quests. But I'm impressed with the amount of in-game content, and I can't wait for future DLCs to come out.
