mBeat 13 Port Powered USB 2.0 Hub reviews

I've owned quite a few different USB hubs in the past. They usually cause glitches (drivers don't install correctly, devices aren't recognized or issues with my tablet drawing broken strokes), don't draw enough power, and/or just die completely shortly after purchase. This is not the case with this hub. Everything is fully powered (thanks to the external power source), no glitches or driver errors, the build quality is excellent, and the switches (which I THOUGHT I wasn't going to use) have been extremely handy. The switches so far have been used for:

• Powering down my sata->usb board (clears the cache so I can swap drives)
• Turning off my keyboard when I leave the room (so my cat doesn't walk all over it)
• Cutting power to devices charging off usb.

I would highly recommend this hub to anyone looking for a usb 2.0 hub.

This USB hub is great! 13 extra ports that you can use either on your consoles or PC. Individual switches work almost seamlessly. The overall build of the hub is plastic and does feel some-what cheap but it really does the job and for what you pay it is really perfect.

Have had this in use for over a year and has never missed a beat. No downsides whatsoever. Recommend this to anyone who needs a USB hub attached to their machine.

Works a charm for connecting all my audio storage equipment via one port. On/off switches for each individual port very useful. Unit has a fairly flimsy construction but this is to be expected for the price, overall a good quality and value hub.

Looks stylish. Great for multiple usb slots!

Really like this. The only problem is that when you handle it to plug in another device the power connection at the back comes out. Easily fixed with a bit of sellotape but they should make it a tighter fit. Still a 4 star item!
