The crime fiction novelist presents another anthology of short stories with More Shorts in the Dark, a collection all at once insightful, dark, humorous, and pleasing. Together, the stories allow the author to comment on human behavior, as in "The Aggrieved", the cost of dying in "For Services Rendered", the life of seniors in "The Bus to Foxwoods", or the effect of family attempts to help in "The Intervention". His highly received crime fiction stories are also part of the collection, with twists in tales such as "Jealousy", "The Passenger", and "Missing Him Dearly".
