"Still the same excellent game with many tweeks"

Building on the original title the ceators have made Mount and Blade Warband a much more responsive enviroment. There are factions within factions and every action you make has consequenses. A fantastic revamp and upgrade on the original, without losing any of its charm. So many areas have been attended too including the trade system, weapons, armour, A.I in general is just a lot better.

Multiplayer – nice addition. I have found that there are few nz servers/players on Steam and when you do play inline it is ridiculously hard – Timing is everything and is different from the single player game. I have found it not uncommon for one person to have 40 kills to one death. Hacking comes to mind but it is probably because the person has spent 100's of hours playing nothing but Warband multiplayer.

Overall the new features alone are reason enough to buy the game and the multi player aspect is a good system if you have the time to relearn how to fight.

"Geared for Multiplayer"

M&B Warband expands on the original by adding a new faction to its sandbox campaign, the Sarranid Empire (Based on the various Arab Caliphates of the middle ages).

Warband also adds new items and maps, while improving the graphics from the original. Most of the tweaks however are aimed at the new multiplayer mode with the new control options in singleplayer only useful as practice for the multiplayer.

That said Mount and Blade Warband is an excellent game that I would recommend to anyone looking for a Medieval fix.

"Awesome"
4 stars"

I keep getting addicted to this game, what it lacks in graphics and voice acting it makes up with great gameplay and the new multiplayer adds more value to the package that the original did not have, my only problem is its exactly the same game as before, just with a new faction and a revised map and a multiplayer that I wasn't sure about first since in the trailers it sounded just like the castle sieges which wasn't my strong suit, but after playing it for a few hours it really is fun aswell.

"Worth the wait"

Received it obviously “mighty” guick thanks to there brilliant fast post. Opened it up, chucked it in ma comp, and turns out its a steam copy, ive had some bad experiences with them from installing Napoleon Total war. However it was not a problem to install. A must before you even decide to get this game, YOU NEED AN INTERNET CONNECTION TO VALIDATE IT AND TO INSTALL. You may notice in game if you enter a city etc, it will crash, the solution is too got to the configure option on the 1st menu and ENABLE cheats, you dont have to use cheats. What this does stops you getting achievements, as the achievements are the bug.
Now enough about the bad and the ugly lets bring out the positive. Have you been playing mount and blade one, and are not sure to get this, I say now yes 100%, with loads of new features like improved diplomacy, a way better combat system, graphics!!! and dont get me started on multi player. Awesome friendly community, no cheating no spam, pure medieval fun/mayhem, with servers with up too 100 vs 100 battles, lag free! A MUST HAVE FOR ANY MEDIEVAL CRAZY. Awesome game that will keep you playing until ya hands fall off from exhaustion…

"Amazing Game"
5 stars"
Purchased on Mighty Ape

Very addicting game Have already spent about 50 hours on it and I am nowhere near finishing it. This game is almost impossible to get bored of. There are so many things that you can do. You can become a mercenary and fight for any faction, you can become a vassal of a faction and be awarded fiefs for your efforts on and off the field, or you can start your own faction and take over the whole of calradia. The native game is great but the mods are what make this game really amazing
