Excerpt from Notes on Mount Auburn Cemetery: Edited by an Officer of the Corporation, Intended to Serve as a Stranger's Guide Book Leave this on your left hand, and following the avenue sweeping to the right, you are soon at the Chapel.* Between the statue and the chapel, however you cannot have failed to notice as you passed, a handsome granite wall on the left of the avenue it is one side of an inclosure contain ing 2500 square feet, and belongs to the law rence family. It is the largest private inclosure in the Cemetery, and remarkable for its rich Simplicity. When you have examined the Chapel, pass out and turn to the right, taking the first ave nue, (which is only a few steps from the chapel door.)
