Description

The Outlaw Badge II is an adventurous and intriguing story of the old west, mixed with real historical events to bring the old west back to life. These times were some of the wildest eras in American history where the six shooter was the only law in most of the territories. While General George Armstrong Custer was training his troops in the winter of 1868 for a winter campaign against the Indians, the President of the United States was being impeached. Learn real American western history facts along with the adventures of the fictional characters who take you back into time with gun fights, lots of action, and a touch of romance. Two outlaws in the mean time, Nevada Mike, (who was portraying Marshal Michael Creek at the time), and Robert Younger left Carson City to cross the dangerous Sierra Nevada Mountains during a snow storm. Believing that their work was finished in Nevada, they head to California where they aren't wanted by the law. But the love of a woman would soon draw them back into harms way. Prior to leaving Carson City, Marshal Creek was recognized as the outlaw Nevada Mike. Certain men headed out to capture him and to also collect the reward money. This starts an adventure like no other. While conflicts continued between the states over the Civil War, and the Congress and the President not seeing eye to eye, and with the cavalry preparing to wage war on the Indians, times were very hard in the territories. Along with the Civil War ending, and Indian wars on the rise, outlaws and gun fighters waged war with each other as well as with the lawmen. Bank and train robberies were on the rise, and the year 1868 would be remembered as a history making year. Note: This is a work of fiction. Except for real historical events, all characters, names, places, art work, and events portrayed in this book are either products of the author's imagination or are used fictitiously.
