Awesome remote. Navigating Xbox is very easy with the remote and great on streaming apps

Works well, turns xbox on and off and with even a slight touch/bump the buttons light up so you can see the buttons clearly, especially at night, works great with general xbox navigation and netflix etc

Love having this remote. It's a little directional, meaning we need to aim at the xbox to make it work, but much better than using the Xbox controller all the time. We only use Xbox for Netflix and Plex with this, so some of the buttons are redundant (would be great to be able to reassign), but it does what it says on the tin.

I purchased this product in 2018 Used Everyday Since and still works fine. The buttons light up briefly (5seconds) when remote is moved or press button which I finnd really handy at night and to find it in the dark. Very comfortable in the hand and the extra buttons that have been added are useful. Would definitely buy again. 5 out of 5 for me :)

It does everything I need it to do, with no setup required – just point it at any Xbox One and it works. However, it has some usability issues:

  • the D-pad buttons require quite a firm press, which can make my finger tired if I'm scrolling through a lot of items.
  • it was easy to get the back cover off to fit the batteries, but I've yet to manage to get it back on properly; it falls off periodically.
  • some of the most common functions are quite far apart from each other, eg play/pause skip etc are quite a distance from back/volume etc, so I have to shift its position in my hand quite often, or use two hands.
