Alan Brown is a former member of the Scottish National Orchestra. He now works as a freelance musician, with several leading UK orchestras, and as a consultant in music and IT. Tony Skinner is widely respected as one of the UK's premier music educators. He has written and edited over 50 music-education books, and is the editor of Guitar Tutor magazine and a columnist for Total Guitar magazine.
