"Why no dual shock?"
5 stars"

MGS4 is god, PS3 is Jesus, Not including a Dual shock controller in this bundle is the work of the anti christ!

This bundle is still going to be great, i will definately buy it, but i am annoyed that sony hasn't included a dual shock controller considering MGS4 is one of the first games to be compatable. How are we really going to be appart of Snakes brilliant character if we dont feel what he feels? I hope the ultra limited addition MGS4 bundle comes to NZ. Steel coloured console, with limited edition MGS4 including actionfigure! Trust me im not a fan boy, but with a deal like this its hard not to be. Please Game Planet, make your own bundle which includes dualshock controller, 40gb ps3 and limited addition game. I WOULD BY IT!!!! This game will beat GTA4 and will be the main selling point for the PS3 (appart from LBP) therefore you need a good sellable bundle that everyone will want, who wants to spend an extra $110, no one thats why GP needs to make the ultimate bundle. If they do, it will sell.

"A half-baked opportunity."
2 stars"

As a game and as a console, both the PS3 and MGS4 are excellent buys. This bundle, however – not so much.

Two important points to note – both to do with the PS3.

First, if this is your first system, GET AN 80gig or 20gig model SECOND HAND INSTEAD. The 40gig models (as included in this bundle) don't include PS2 backwards capability – a complete and utter rip.

Second, the sixaxis controller (included in this bundle) is being REPLACED by the DualShock3 – exactly the same, but with rumble. The sixaxis will soon become redundant.

The money you save on the bundle is pretty much negated by a) the cheaper price of a second hand console and b) the price of buying another DS3 when they release.

So… there's really no point buying this, unless you're really impatient.
