"Great addition to the series"
5 stars"

Pokemon is back for the DS, and the graphics have been given an overhaul.

The gameplay is very much the same as previous Pokemon games, but this is a good thing!

The touch screen only gets used when giving commands or using your backpack or computer, but this certainly makes things easier and more enjoyable.

"Best Pokemon Game Yet"
5 stars"

Pokemon, many of you already own the presequals, and probably are thinking.. not another pokemon or maybe u are excited like i was… So i ordered the game from overseas, as i couldn't bare the pal release. After completing the game i can now make an informed and unbias, review of my favourite DS game to date :)

Firstly this game feels pokemon, nothing much has changed from the battle system since the first version. And why change something that works? However to make the game feel new again, a lot of things are added on top of the old engine, such as due pokemon battles ( 2 pokemons at a time ) adds loads of strategies into the game. Item add on's to pokemons. Many side quests such as beauty contest. And of course hundred new pokemons to capture! New Pokeballs adds new dimension to catch pokemon.

Secondly what impresses me about this game is the A.I of the system. The computer rarely makes fundamental mistakes and outsmarted me in many occassions. ( i won't give examples as it spoils the game ). The game is Lengthy! 40 hours to complete, or 60 hours ++ if you are into collecting..

And you thought it couldn't get any better… You can go Online! yes thats right, for the first time, you can take your pokemons online and battle your friends :) on top of that, if you are the owner of a nintendo Wii then you can even hook it up to your wii once pokemon revolution comes out =) So yeah, to conclude my review of the game, i'd like all you DS owners to give it a go. It may look childish and all but the most important element of gaming cannot be ignored, and that is.. FUN!
