Description

Seven years after the global collapse things were starting to look up for the people of the Northern Arizona Territory. Trade had been re-established east to Albuquerque and Santa Fe and west to California. Sugar and coffee were coming in from Mexico, and the copper mine had reopened in Jerome. Power had also been restored to Flagstaff, a major hub on the rail line, through a treaty with the Navajo. Then the unthinkable happens and power is cut off just after a sizable payment. Needing answers, the Flagstaff City Council hires Olivia Crawford on the word of her grandfather to lead a small group to the power plant. Can she now, beset by rumors of favoritism, lead her team through inhospitable territory and navigate the distrust of the Navajo to find answers and restore power? Dare she risk exploring the whispers of her heart when she finds herself attracted to a teammate who rumor has it is only there to pick her up when she fails?
