To be brief, as Things fiand, the Bufinefs of Phyfici ans or Artificers is to find out the Properties of each Body by repeated Experiments. This la'f'c Age and the prel'ent have fliew'd an Example of an unwearied Diligence to future Ages; and if this Scene of rifeful Curiofity goes forward for two or three Ages more, Things may at laf't arrive at a Certainty.
