Pretty good maybe not everyone's cup of tea but I'm a fan of the books. I think the following seasons will be when the show really picks up

We love supernatural/ type shows like this ( or like this is supposed to be –) True Blood..American Horror Story, Penny Dreadful..... I had heard some good reviews on " The Preacher". So we bought season one,, the anticipation whilst waiting, was intense, We watched the whole season in one long day,,,, Ppppffffffft..... Bad acting right from the start. Was a " D" grade movie right from the start. Crap acting, cast and crew, , “ CRAP”

I had heard mixed reviews about Preacher, but I needn't have worried. This is a slick and beautiful show, with a lot of guts (ha!), and sick minds. Opens a door into the Southern Baptist psyche, and you feel the heat rise of the Texas plains. Total magic.
This tv series has a mix of horror, supernatural themes , mix of comedy and fantasy .
