Psych is a fresh and funny comedy television series, it focuses of Shawn & Gus who run Psych. Along with solving crimes and generally outwitting Dec Lassiter & hitting on Dec O'Hara the thing that shines through the most in the show is the bromance between the two leads. Despite my worries about if this format could be successfully transferred to book I grabbed a copy anyway.

And while a mind may be a terrible thing to read, this book is not. the author Rabkin has managed to capture the essence of the tv show characters and seamlessly transfer them into the written word. Im only saddened that this book was never turned into an actual episode of Psych because I would have loved to see some of the hi-jinks in here on the screen.

Description

After the PSYCH detective agency gets some top-notch publicity, Shawn's high school nemesis, Dallas Steele, hires him to help choose his investments. Naturally, their predictions turn out to be total busts. And the deceptive Dallas is thrilled that he has completely discredited and humiliated Shawn once and for all - until he's found murdered. The police have a suspect - found at the scene with a smoking gun. She says Shawn took control of her mind and forced her to do it - after all, he is psychic ...isn't he? Based on the TV show shown on Hallmark in the UK.
