"Dont buy"

Total regret. The mic on this is borderline unusable its so bad. You cant go more than 1m away from your device without the audio cutting out or the headset disconnecting altogether. And if you adjust the volume on the headset itself while you have audio playing there is a scratching noise. DONT BUY THIS GARBAGE.

"Mixed results"

Great sound quality and easy usability thru synapse. Comfy to wear. Only 3 stars due to the severely limited range. All other RF headsets I have owned have had twice the range. This headset cuts out and drops signal after only 3 or so meters. I cant even use them from my lounge to my kitchen. (open plan with line of site)

"Single worst head sets I have ever owned"
1 stars"
Purchased on Mighty Ape

The sounds is good but the microphone is rubbish, most people struggle to hear me. The wireless range is pathetic. It constantly drops connection and reconnects. By constant I mean you can be sitting there and all you are hearing for several minuets is the sound of the alert that the head sets have disconnected and are reconnecting. I have not gone a single day without this happening. Stay far far away from these.

"NOT WORTH IT FOR BLUETOOTH!"
1 stars"

The headset is great it just disconnects over and over and over again, luckily the Aux cord works and makes things much better but the main reason I even got this headset is because its Wireless! But I can't use Bluetooth! Audio quality is great otherwise.

"Amazing."

Getting these for $200 was a steal. Amazing headphones. Now I did a lot of research and some of the reviews here on MightyApe weighed in heavily. I took the plunge anyway, not liking the other options (and the discount was so good). I have no idea what these negative reviewsare talking about. I have crystal clear audio, both in ear and on mic (according to friends). I have decent wireless range for being able to walk around the room without problems. The connection is as easy as plugging in the USB and pushing the on button – often connecting before I've even taken my finger off. So happy with these. Perhaps some people got faulty headphones, and should have looked to return them rather than presume that's the quality of the headset? Their loss, my gain.

"Synapse. Say no more."

Range is 1m, as stated by others. Moreover, Razer Synapse won't detect the device again if it goes to sleep and you have to restart. Every. Time. Enjoy.

"Good sound and comfortable. Terrible range."

Save your money and buy some other gaming headset. Although, the sound is pretty good and the whole headset is super comfortable to wear even during long gaming sessions, the range on this wireless headset is terrible.

The headset begins to disconnect and reconnect constantly, especially when I move away from my PC by like 0.6 to 1 meter.

"Only the mic is bad"

Make sure you get razer synapse and figure out how to make the wireless mic sound good – because it sounds pretty bad overall (for a $300 mic). Otherwise great.

"Sound is great, microphone is 'okay', adjustment is terrible"

It bamboozles me to think that headphones that have had so much other good thought go into them, and then get COMPLETELY let down by the biggest factor. Will they actually stay on your head. The answer for me? No. Within 1 hour of wearing these the headband/earcup adjustment is about as useful as a wet noodle for a bridge support. Apparently this is relatively common. MightyApe are being as helpful as possible but alas I am without a headset for 3 weeks while it's with the supplier to confirm the issue.

Now, aside from the glaringly obvious issue the positives. Clarity, bass and mid is really good for a gaming headset which is nice for a change. The comfort of the earcup is really nice and soft, and doesn't get nearly as hot as a leather cup. Though, the material is a tad scratchy for those with irritable skin. So if you prefer the leather/leatherette feel, I'd suggest getting a pair of headphones with that.

The microphone quality is ‘good’ but it's a far stretch from great. The Clarity there there but it lacks any real depth, and can come across in some ways scratchy or tinny to other users. So if you're looking for top tier headset microphones, this isn't for you. Though, you may be able to replace the microphone as it is removable and there may be a working third party replacement.

Overall, if the adjustment doesn't fail it's definitely a good headset. The audio is really good and battery life from the time I had it was also rather good. But I'm not sure I want another pair given the frequent reviews stating the adjustment issue.

Your choice.
