Razer Raiju Wireless Ultimate PS4 Controller (Bluetooth) reviews

This review is for the edition which I purchased in October, 2018.

Experienced stick drift and problems with the X button not working. I updated the firmware at the time using the updater provided by RAZER. This did not fix anything.

Mighty ape were fantastic at providing a full refund for the faulty controller.

I want to have faith in this controller as it was fun to use but the problems made in unusable. I have just purchased the “2019 edition” and I will update the review as time goes on. ———— 15–07–2019———— I received the controller today updated the firmware from 1.04 to 1.05. Controller is working perfectly via Bluetooth and in Wired mode. I will update the review in a month.

Comfortable grip good for long use.

This controller shouldn't have been released. It has terrible input lag, drift issues and there doesn't seem to be a fix any time soon. Before you buy, go look at the Razer sub reddit and look at all of the issues it has.

Razer missed the boat with this. You cannot use this controller as a wireless controller as dial up speed would be more responsive. Constant drift issues making Apex and Fortnite unbearable. Firmware updates are limited to windows OS. Best use to date: Paper Weight

This controller is supposed to be superior for gaming. It suffers from intermittent input lag over Bluetooth. I updated to the latest firmware and the research online shows that Razer have tried to fix this known problem but it continues to happen to lots of customers.

Finally after a few issues they got it right with the new updated controller, if you still have drift issues make sure you update the controller. The update is on razers support site and its now finally a perfect controller

Had all the problems everyone described updated tested it then returned currently waiting to see what happens. This controller should be getting 5 stars it feels good has all the features just doesn’t work like it should. Also forgot to mention I got the raiju tournament for my brother who really wanted it but waited until they were available instore it had the latest firmware from the store and hasn’t had a problem not one glitch! makes me think they were being rushed maybe not using correct assembly process who knows
