R.B. Winters was initially published in 2005, releasing his second book a year later. The Other Realm and Blood Vengeance generated a buzz that inspired the author to expand into new territories of writing. Personally describing his life as "a tragically hilarious sitcom" caught the attention of an up and coming Euro magazine. Months of crafting what would have been a column following the author's misadventures in love and life, fell flat when the magazine lost funding. Not wanting to waste the time and energy that had gone into his work, R.B. put together the blog Rent (minus) Control. From this blog comes the newly released novel by the same name.
