Dear Mr. President: SELECT COMMITIEE ON INTELLIGENCE WASHINGTON, OC 20510-B475 January 15, 2014 On behalf of all members of the Select Committee on Intelligence, we are filing the enclosed Committee report titled, "SSCI Review of Terrorist Attacks on U.S. Facilities in Benghazi, Libya, September 11-12, 2012." The report was approved by voice vote of the Committee at a meeting held on December 12, 2013. Senate Resolution 400 ofthe 94th Congress (1976) charges the Committee with the duty to oversee and make continuing studies of the intelligence activities and programs of the United States Government, and to report to the Senate concerning those activities and programs. Pursuant to its responsibilities under Senate Resolution 400, the Committee undertook an in-depth examination of the matters described in the report. The report we are submitting for printing is the declassified version and unclassified Additional Views. (Officials of the Executive Branch have already had an opportunity to review the report for classification purposes.)
