Much better than the original resident evil 5 game. Has great add ons , new characters and collectibles from the original game. Great if your a resident evil fan!

Resident Evil 5 is a good game, and with the additional content in the gold edition, it's great value for money. In an ocean of awful PS3 games, RE5 stands out as something worth getting your wallet out for, particularly if you're short on good co-op games, but if you're looking for a true survival horror experience, look elsewhere. In the single player campaign, your partner Sheva is with you at all times, so you don't get that feeling of being hopelessly alone that gave Dead Space and Bioshock their atmosphere. Also, ammo scarcity ceases to be a problem in the later stages of the game, and every time there's about to be a zombie encounter, suspenseful music begins to play so that you'll never be surprised. These things make it unlikely you'll be scared by RE5, but as far as zombie-killing games on the PS3 go, RE5 is about the best you'll find.

For all those fans that loved Resident Evil 5, this is a must have. Resident Evil 5 gold edition come with many bonus features that take the now old Resident Evil 5 and fully revitalize it. You are now able to play with more characters and test your skills in new scenarios. From new costumes to new trophies, this game has it all and much more.

RE5 is the perfect mix of classic Resident Evil & the newer style introduced in RE4. Their are new costumes, special camera settings and extra stages. Capcom is gonna have to work very hard to top this one.

For those who has played the previous installments of RE titles, this one is the final chapter of story (as far as I know XD). And the one with best game play so far, one of the must have game for anyone who has a PS3.

RE5 GOLD has hours of game play heaps of modes its a must for fans of the series and for people new to the series also it is played the same way as RE4 but way more improvements have been made i dont think you can compare this to any other game it stands on it own as a mean title hope you enjoy this title as much as i did
