This is a really fun game, if you've ever played mafia or werewolf this is similar! Be sure to either download the app for the voiceover at the beginning or jump on youtube and It is on there.

It allows you to choose which characters are playing in the round and then tells merlin to open his eyes and then close percival to open his eyes and merlin raise his thumb etc. Just makes sure a slip of the tongue doesn't accidentally give away something!! Also the voice acting is hilarious :P

Have had games take 5 minutes and others 30 minutes+ really depends on who is playing and how the first couple of rounds go!

Nice simple game of deduction. Easy to learn and great replay ability. Highly recommended

This game is a lot of fun, but requires intelligent players. It is not unlike Poker in many ways, in that you need to bluff and logically deduce other player's positions in order to win.

This game is awesome for parties, as its quick, involves everyone, is easy to teach, and is so much fun. there is also a good level of adjustment you can make to the game in order to balance good and evil with the characters you add. Better than other similar games where players are systematically excluded as the game progresses, because players are always involved throughout the entire game.

Highly recommend for those who love deduction, bluffing party games. This one fairs the best from others like One Night Ultimate Werewolf or Secret Hitler. You can ease people into the game by only playing with a few special cards or character roles at a time – then progressively add more in once people get the feel of it. The more special cards that are added in, the better! It adds more layers and possibilities to the game. The replayability on this is great – you'll always want to play one more.

Resistance: Avalon is a fun hidden role game, easy to play and you have the freedom of using whoever special characters you want to include. I highly recommend this game.

It was just what Ive been looking for :)

It started out great. I was a good guy. I wasn't trying to trick anybody into foolishly trusting me.

But we were still learning the rules.

The leader was choosing their party and declined extending an invitation to another because “I think you're the bad guy”, singular, and in confusion I blurted out: “Wait, I thought there were two of us-”

Turns out, yes, there are two bad guys and I am now considered one of them. But I was a good guy! A good guy nobody trusted anymore and stopped bringing on their missions. My partner took pity on me, but unfortunately she also brought a bad guy who failed the mission and pinned it on me.

Evil triumphed that day.

Later sessions have proved I am an awful bad guy, a worse good guy, sweat profusely when nervous and have poor judgement. One time I was the leader and voted against my own party choice because I WASN'T SURE ANYMORE GUYS, IS IT HOT IN HERE-

I would probably prefer to play this with strangers. I look in my partner's eyes nowadays and am still concerned by how easily they tricked me into believing they're a good guy. The betrayal is real.

A bit tricky to pick up at first, but once you get the hang of it, you can entertain a party of guests with intrigue and indecision. Definitely an excellent addition to any gamers cupboard.

A fairly quick game. The rules are pretty straightforward, but deceiving each other–that's when it starts to get tricky. Depending on which character you are playing, the your role & strategy is completely different. Great for large groups. All types of people can enjoy this game. No good when playing with drunk people

We have just played the basic game and had a fantastic time. Now we will look at expanding into the complexity on offer.
