Risen 2: Dark Waters reviews

I gave up on this game after about twelve hours. It is just SO dull. On top of that the graphics are abysmal. They truly have to be seen to be believed. There's a beautiful engine under there but either it's been nerfed really badly for the 360 or it's just a bad port. The character animations are goofy and unlifelike. The combat is awkward and unsatisfying. Although the voice work in general is pretty good, the voice of the protagonist is dull and completely lifeless.

There is just nothing redeemable about the game. It has nice music and the monsters are pretty cool, that's about it.

I'm a big fan of Piranha Bytes early games, Gothic 1 and 2, and enjoyed Risen 1 and I really wanted to like this game despite what I'd heard about it, but I just couldn't. Even if you manage to put up with the graphics and combat the game itself is just so boring.

A bit glitchy good adventure game,Really looked forrward to play this game pictures and youtube trailer was really good then you play the game and wonder do the game makers play games glitchy movement at times,Could of been more like fable game style or combat and movement like assassins creed but no not good like those games.Sort game you play once for the rpg story and then sell after you clock it.

I really liked the first in the series, and this one ended up even better! If you like RPG's, you're bound to like this.
