Author Biography

Roy McMakin is based in San Diego, previously working for more than years in both and Seattle and Los Angeles. Pilar Vilades is currently the Architecture and Design Editor for Town and Country Magazine. Previously she has been an editor at New York Times Magazine, Interiors, Progressive Architecture and House & Garden. She is the author of Domesticities: At Home with the New York Times Magazine, and California Beach Houses. Daniel Friedman is the Dean of the School of Architecture at the University of Hawaii. He has contributed to the PAP titles, Salk Institute, and Tom Kundig.
