Shadow Warrior reviews

I picked this up from a Mighty Ape daily deal for $20 on PS4. I really enjoyed the original Shadow Warrior from 1997 and this one seemed to have good reviews, so I took a punt on it.

I'm glad I did. As soon as the prologue chapter started I could not stop grinning from ear to ear. Big dumb fun doesn't even begin to describe it. I won't spoil anything, but lovers of 80s and 90s pop culture will have a blast with all of the references. It was worth the money just for the first 15 minutes alone.

Graphics are average for PS4 standards, but it controls well, and the story and humour are outstanding. If you're into shooters and are maybe sitting on the fence with this, do not hesitate, specially if it's on sale again. You won't regret it.

Still haven't played the game but at the price point I just decided to buy it since it was way cheaper than anywhere else. Heard it was a good game though from reviews.

This Game is Great such a Cool Slasher/shooter!! just like a true oldschool fun Game.

Got plenty of action and gore with some silly speech lines. Never played the previous version to know more about this game, haven't finished it yet will see how it goes the style seems similar to other games I've played.

Boring!

I was really surprised how much fun this game is. It has some great combat/upgrade ideas which make for a unique experience. At the same time it feels like an old school fps, like the original Shadow Warrior or a Serious Sam game. It's good value!

Got on a deal for $25 and got my monies worth within an hour. Super fun, good graphics, cool story, wicked game
