Moved, and it was duly seconded, that W. H. West be elected secretary of this meeting, and the motion being put it was declared carried. The object of the meeting having then been more definitely explained, and generally discussed by the members of the Bar present, it being for the purpose of devising ways and means, working in harmony and conjunction with the representatives of the people, The Board of Supervisors and the Members of the Legislature from this district, and through them the members of the other districts in the State, for the disposition of the present court house.
