As a former member of the British armed forces for 24 years, I can vouch for the fact that this set shows exactly how life was in the days of the British Grenadier, in the days when a so-called “Gentleman”, who bought his commission, was anything but a gentleman. An excellent series.

For lovers of historical dramas, this is one of the best. Following the adventures of The King's Rifles during the Napoleonic Wars, commanded by Sharpe ( Sean Bean), it also features wonderful performances by Daragh O'Malley, Paul Bettany, Brian Cox and Feodor Atkine and many others. A set to add to your library.
